Screw Studs

iGRiP has a model of screw-in stud for your snowmobile. These studs offer the advantages of being inexpensive, light weight and easy to install. Due to their lightness they will not add excess weight to the track. For security on the trails, adding iGRiP studs will do a great job both when braking and accelerating. They will bring you stability, security and control of your sled on roads and icy curves. In racing applications, they can be used on single ply tracks that are unable to use conventional studs and/or on deeper lug tracks where conventional chisels offer limited penetration.  They can be a lightweight alternative to supplement or replace a conventional stud pattern. For snowmobile tracks, it’s always best to pre-drill the holes. This will ensure that you’re in the middle of the track lug and that the studs will go in straight. You will need a 3/32 '' drill bit. Note that there’s always an installation tool included in each package. To make it easier to insert the iGRiP stud, you can dip them in dish soap or a lubricant that is not petroleum-based.
